The sound got a little spread after a few minutes, but it was a focused sound. My favorite piece for soprano is a Selmer Super Session "I" which to me has a bigger sound, however, my second favorite is the Yani Metal 7.

High overtones are more like whistling through the sax than anything else. Based on good reviews and seeing a lot of pros using it I purchased a BG Duo ligature a few months ago for Alto (the gold lacquered model).
