Check The Power Liftgate Fuse. The fuse box is usually under the hood and on the right side of the engine bay. Check the power liftgate fuse to see if it has blown or if it has any other issues. Open the tailgate manually and leave it open, take both the cables OFF the battery and hold them together (when the cables are OFF the battery) re install the cables on battery and wait a minute. Close the tailgate manually. 2009 CX-9 with manual rear hatch. I can't get the rear hatch open using the exterior handle. It feels like the exterior hatch handle is stuck, as there is no movement in or out. I removed the interior inspection panel & can open the hatch that way. Electric lock motor operates when I press the remote. . Apartments under dollar300 a month
